MY18 Windscreen - Photos Required Please

Hi All,

My car went in to the dealer for a service and a few minor squeaks and rattles. The dealer managed to damage to headliner which required the windscreen to be removed to replace it. When I got the car back it was leaking badly from the windscreen. I had a good look at top of the windscreen to see if I could establish where the leak was coming from - I couldn't see anything. The car went back to the dealer and the windscreen was removed and refitted (again!) and no longer leaks. However, when washing the car over the weekend I noticed that the top of the windscreen looked 'different' to how it was before (almost like there was bit of trim missing).

I'm not sure if it was fitted incorrectly previously (possible as it was leaking) or now. Would someone be able to send me pics of a factory fitted MY18 windscreen so I can establish if there is something missing from mine?

Thank you!

I had that on the wife’s Evoque.. the car normally has a strip across the top of the windscreen which presumably reduces drag…

We had the same problem with the original oem screen.. and I gather it causes issues with sealing…

When the car came back from the dealer it was resealed and the top strip had not been replaced… I would imagine the same issue with the RRS..
