How to clean exhaust and door steps

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, are the rear exhaust pipes chrome as well as the steps on the doors? They’re dull at the moment and I’m wondering what’s best to get them all shined up again for my girlfriends RRS. Anyone got any ideas what I should use on the parts?

Regards

One of my side steps fell off, so took the opportunity to take the other off (just as well as only one rivet was holding it on) rubbed them down with P400 sanding blocks and the re-lacquered them using https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004SN...&psc=1
Put about 4 coats on and they seem to be great but lets see how they last!!

Have to say there was more rust than step - so probably looking at new ones in a year or so. Got some before pictures but non after as the car is in the garage getting the air con fixed...

Get Autosol at Halford, any accessory shop, Ebay or Amazon. You don't need much for a good job
Even use it on centre console to get rid of scratches
