Front 12v socket and DRL not working

Well little trip to lakes after getting my car back from having inlet manifold fixed
And my dash cam plugged into the front 12v socket wasn’t working so checked fuse (f52 in glovebox) and was blown so replaced and soon as plugged in it blew it so unplugged cam think must be my lead. So with nothing plugged in it blew it soon as popped new fuse in.
So thought maybe the socked itself so took off connectors to it and yup you guessed it still blew fuse
Now then as pulled into my drive my mrs was going out and she noticed my DRL wernt on so this leads me to thinking it’s all connected.
Does anyone have any ideas for me to look at before I go back to the garage wich I really don’t want to as already fuming with them as they had my car 4 days past what they told me latest it would be was and completely messed up my plans for that week and he didn’t even have courtesy to ring to say it would be late only the dead truely know peace,

If this problem has just manifested itself since the manifold repair I would guess that a wiring harness has been damaged somewhere. Have a good look at any accessible wiring in the engine bay making sure nothing has been nipped or jammed against a hot surface. 2010 RRS, TDV8

may want to follow the DRL wiring, to see where that goes.

I would be a little surprised if it was the same issue, but you never know.

It probably easier to run a new wire between the fuse and cigar lighter.
Get either a piggy back fuse or an inline fuse (and make sure you do to prevent fires!)

Yeah I’m going to look in morn see if I can see anything but I’m defo leaning towards the two problems been from same cause and I think garage has caught a loom somewhere when doing the manifold as before both worked perfectly
So looks like going to be another argument with the idiot there only the dead truely know peace,
