Hi everyone,
I'm awaiting delivery this afternoon of a 2006 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSE. I've taken a bit of a gamble in buying this car from BCA and as auctions are still online, I've only seen pictures. All I know is that it's grade 2 (1-5, 1 being best), so cosmetically it should be decent, it's done 145k with 10x service stamps and MOT until next April, so I thought what the hell and bought it.
My intension is to run the RRS as a second car because I've always fancied one, but I'm well aware of all the potential issues with these cars and I don't have any personal experience with them.

I need some recommendations please for a local LR specialist or mobile guy, to give the car a good check over/test drive and report back the findings. If it's generally good I don't mind putting money into preventative maintenance like cambelts and gearbox flush etc. If it's a dog, I'd rather take a smaller hit now and sell it on.

I'm based in Redditch and willing to travel up to an hour if necessary for a good garage.

They've been looking after my RRS for the last 3yrs and always give good service at a great price. 2006 RRS HSE 2.7 TDV6 (The Baby one as I keep being told)
