Egr delete 3.0 tdv6

Hi, I have a rrs 2011-2012 3.0 tdv6 245hp.
I want to blank of the egr system. On these models, is it enough to enter the software and disable the system? Or do I need blanking plates also? Is there anything else needed to do then disabling the system? Regards Benjamin

If you blank off the EGR isn't that an MOT failure? 2013 L320 3.0 TD in grey! sometimes towing a Buccaneer Cruiser.

Also affects DPF regenerations

Thankfully, the 3.0 EGRs rarely suffer from failure
