Hello all,

I'm considering buying a second hand RRS and am looking for something between MY 2017 and 2020.

I notice the later models have Matrix LED headlights. Coming from a D4 MY2011 with Xenon and H7 spots, I am wondering how good (or otherwise) the Matrix headlights are on country roads; brightness, corners lights, range Etc.

I would welcome any insights (no pun intended) RRS Possibly

I came from a D3 with Xenon and H7's to a 2017 RRS with Xenon's. They are awful compared to the D3. I do a lot of driving at early/late nights and miss my D3's lights. Think the design is def style over substance with them being so thin.

Not sure on the matrix lights on the 2018 models but I would guess they are OK. If you need night driving lights then I'd make sure they are decent.

To be fair, my missus as a Mini with their top matrix lights. They are bloody amazing, esp with the corner lighting and auto dip.

I have a MY2016 RRS with xenon lights and RR Velar with Matrix LED lights..

Have to say matrix LED lights are very good, bright sharp beama that light up the road a loong way ahead.

Matrix headlights? Superb in every way. You will be amazed. As the man says - gamechanger.
