Well I did a VA today Exclamation Shocked Shocked Shocked

Caught the mirror housing whilst going past a poorly positioned lorry at a roundabout which smashed the mirror and grazed the plastic housing. Good job I hadn't spent money painting the mirror housing as that would have had to be repaired as well.

Still phoned Stratstone's at Newport Pagnell whilst onroute. They had a mirror in stock, went straight there and they fitted it whilst I waited FOC. Mirror glass cost £29.

That's what I call good service Exclamation

Mind you the Service Manager is really impressed with my exhaust and he enjoys showing it to the staff there, when ever I pop in. He loves the V8 burble from a diesel. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

I believe if it's worth doing it's worth doing well and £29 is not in my league! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

What did you hope for while you were in there, Jay? Laughing

I've done my mirror glass a couple of times now... and now the £29 cost only too well. Replacing the glass is a right nause though I have to say... it doesn't click back on very easily. First time I had it done, I got one of the chaps to pop out and stick it on for me and he actually broke the first one trying to fit it. Must be a knack to it.
