4.4d V8 - is there any known issue with oil dilution?

I know the V6 has reported issues, but as above is there any evidence of the same issue with the 4.4d V8? MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)

Have 2 x chums with FF Range Rovers with the same engine and they have both had warranty claims on oil dilution issues - i.e. next service indicator dropping rapidly,. MY16, 3.0D HSE Dynamic, Barola Black, TV, Rear Entertainment, Opening Pan Roof, Meridian

Oil dilation issues

Yes my 4.4 has been a nightmare for oil dilation. Had CRC on the phone today explaining how it was my fault as I do the wrong type of journeys ! It was the same from brand new whatever mileage I do / did Dealers wants to charge 350 to change the oil due to a design fault. They tried to tell me the original salesman must have checked what journey I was going to do when I bought it. It cost 93 grand ? Do I really have to choose my journey type ?
