Just fitted a pair of wiper blades purchased from Wilco £4.50 each.They work fine,a large saving to be made.

As long as they don't judder smear or lift at motorway speeds and clear the screen, even if they only last a year that sounds like a result

I cant see any identification on mine but they are undamaged and do work ok, however the long one on the drivers side makes a 'thud' sound as it changes direction.
Is replacement the only solution?
The arms are tight and there is no play in the mechanism. RRS HSE Dynamic SDV6 2014

Mine makes that noise as well, i dont think its the wiper blade as mine has done it even with new wiper blades.
