Leather Conditioner for Perforated Seats

On my other cars I use Gliptone Liquid Leather Conditioner, but being a cream it gets into the perforations and solidifies (I am generally heavy handed and lazy not wanting to put it on slowly) leaving whitish spots in the pores.

Any recommendations of a leather conditioner which will be easier to apply and not fill the pores?

I’ve just started using Gtechnic L1 after I clean my cream perforated leather. It sprays on a pad and wipes on. Never filling the holes. When it dries just a light buff with micro fibre. Nice Matt finish

I have used Dr Leather Wipes for years and would recommend them TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

I asked Gliptone for their advice and they inform me I can water down their conditioner, so I will try that first as I have a bottle to use up. MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)

Modern leather doesn't need conditioner as it's painted and not dyed like the old leather so it will just sit on the surface as can't soak in. it just needs to be cleaned and if you want to reduce dye transfer from jeans and dirt then a sealer like Gtechniq L1 is all you need.

I use Gliptone leather cleaner the seal the surface with Gtechniq L1 and it still looks like new with a matt finish. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Try using colourlock leather cleaner with a leather cleaning brush. They do a mild or strong variant. The mild is an effective cleaner, don't be put off by the word mild, but if you have heavily soiled seats, the strong is the way to go.

Finish off with the colourlock procectant

Just another option Very Happy
