Mudguards - yay or nay?

Debating whether to get some mudguards
Does the protection they offer offset some of the aesthetic issues?
Or do they actually not look too bad?

Yay......they prevent (or hide) gravel rash behind the wheels. I got genuine from Duckworths at a decent price. Powerful Uk has videos on fitting, although I did th3 rear the proper way rather than their shortcut

Without a doubt they are definitely required.

Me too, also live in a rural (muddy roads, thanks Mr Farmer) area.
I generally prefer the look, and they do give some protection to the sides of the car. Thinking of getting a set for the wife's Vauxhall Grandland as it's got a lot of black plastic at the bottom of the doors.

Which supplier is the best (for fitting and aesthetics)? Is there a link to them? Thanks

Yay from me too. I got mine done at the dealers when they fitted my side steps but I reckon they will be easy to fit your self. I fitted my own on my previous RRS

I got genuine from duckworths

Powerful Uk has good videos showing fitting, but I did it the proper way on the back and not their cheat
