Replacement battery

Hi. Today I had to replace the battery in my range rover sport key. As they can be a pain I found some button cell battery holders online. Once the holder is soldered in I can just replace the battery without any soldering.
Hope it helps anyone. New alternator.
Gearbox flush.

When I replaced my key battery I didn't need to do any soldering. Just open the key, pull out old battery, put in new one. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Ah, yes, the original key was recharged when in the ignition lock so wouldn't have been designed to be user serviceable like the one used later. Sorry, I forgot about that as I never had to replace the one in my 08 key. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
