Switch off auto fold mirrors

Is there a way to switch off the auto fold so the side mirrors do not fold in/out? With this freezing weather, on opening the car today, the noise from the motor was horrendous as it broke the frozen ice. I'd rather leave the mirrors out during this winter period.

I've been through the menu in the dash and cannot find anything Current - 2014 Range Rover Sport HSE SDV6

Hi,

To stop this is a Dealer fix.

I think you can override it temporarily by folding the mirrors manually before locking. That way they won’t automatically try and unfold when unlocking.

Not ideal but gives you a level of control.

Hi,
nothing to do with the mirrors Rolling Eyes

but you can also set the wipers to Winter park position when leaving the car so they are on the heated section when you start up

Hi, just to confirm what Scrumps said, the handbook for the 16MY says that you can stop the mirrors from unfolding when you unlock if you fold them using the mirror selector buttons before locking. Am guessing it would be the same for the 14MY.

Hi,
can not remember the sequence think it takes about 3 clicks Confused

its in the menu options, driver controls I think Question

when you find it its easy to use and when switched off the wipers then come back up onto the screen about 50-100mm rather than being tucked under the bonnet lip
