United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Fitting side steps

Hi all. The wife got me some sidesteps for my 2006 range rover sport. I have looked on YouTube how to fit them. I got the plastic rivets out easy but cannot remove the 2 screws by the rear wheel. I have even removed the rear wheel to get more access to them they will not budge. They are starting to round off.
Any ideas how to remove them ?
Can I drill them out and replace them ? Do they just go into plastic?
Can I purchase some new ones and what is the part number?
Thanks. New alternator.
Gearbox flush.

From memory, they go into a folded metal clip with a hole in that goes round the sill trim. It's the metal clip's hole that allows the screw to grip, if that makes sense. If you drill/strip it you can just get another screw and/or clip. This sort of thing;
