She had an advisory for offside front wheel bearing at last Mot so thought I’d replace it and do the half shaft seal that’s still leaking while I was at it, all went well but used some tools I haven’t used for a while......lump hammer and scaffold tube





Front discs look a bit dodgy so that’s next on the list. Steve

Cool. The 4 year warranty on those is fantastic. It shows they have confidence in the parts. That, coupled with the fact they are significantly cheaper than the Timken parts, it's a no-brainer. I hear a lot of the cheaper bearings fail within a few thousand miles so it just isn't worth it. Kev

Was the scaffold pole for levering? I have a handy 50x50x200cm piece of box section I use when frustration takes over. 2012 5.0 SC AB
