United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zambezi Silver
FM Antenna Fault and no DAB reception

Hi I have an early 2010 facelift that has a fault, it started out as getting no reception on the DAB intermittently but now the DAB just says no reception all the time, there is a FTC in the diagnostics of B1D5514 FM Antenna Fault, would this be related and if so is there a module that I can replace to fix? any help appreciated...

Make sure the connector hasn't come off the rear side glass, they just pop on. It uses a little signal booster up in the headlining I honestly can't remember which one is the DAB, but check the connector on the side glass first. Life's too short to drive boring cars !

the FM modules do the DAB as well? Is it worth me swapping them with the dtc code complaining?

Depending on the spec of the car there are a few modules in the headlining, I think the fm is on the rear screen as well as the sides. Dab and tv I think are on the sides. See how many connectors you have on the rear and side glass. I have a few amplifier modules at home, they are colour coded. Also worth checking the amplifiers are being powered up and have a good ground. Life's too short to drive boring cars !
