Hi Everyone

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a make and a supplier of decent fitted rear seat covers for a 2012MY RRS?

Britpart only seem to do ones up to 2010? although I cant see the seats are much different on newer cars? There are various ones on ebay but they seem cheap and a bit generic.

I am after a set so that the dog doesn't damage the seats. He is only small but wont go in the boot and demands to sit with the kids in the back! - so I need some durable covers with slots for the seatbelts. They don't need to be waterproof, so long as they stop claws scratching the leather!

This company in the link above make the Genuine Land Rover seat covers on license from Land Rover. I use the Genuine ones and they have been superb, machine washable and waterproof too, and although not cheap fit superb  2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

Price isnt too bad as I have seen some custom made quilted ones for £160!! I have seen lots of dog 'hammock' style ones but then they wont allow the kids to sit in the back at the same time.

I'll stick a set on my Xmas list and see what Santa brings!

I was reading about a similar one in LRO the other month and they said it was the first kitted out RRS they had ever seen.

Hi, I use the Inka ones and they fit good. Allow sometime for fitting as they come in separate parts - seat base, seat back, armrests and headrests and the same for the rear. Cost me £100 delivered and they are based in Leicestershire HTH.

Too true, I asked the local stealer for a price for a set of covers and it came back at nearly £400. In fact I don't think I've been in the place since, shame because they do lovely free coffee and shortcake biscuits .

Why go in Costa!

I know a few 'prestige' dealers where you can get very nice coffee and biscuits for just looking! My best free Coffee was from a Ferrari dealer - although I didn't get a free refill, so a deal on a Superfast was off!

With Covid now you'd be lucky to get a mask and a handful of bad smelling sanitiser!

£400 for original seat covers is mental.

I managed to get genuine Front one's from a dealer on fleabay a while back for £35.00 a pair. Here are some Ebony rear one's but same price as your local dealer if they are not obsolete by now.

L/R list two different rear sets Vin. No AA000001 up to BA999999 (VPLSS0028PVJ) £80.00 + vat. a pair. CA000001 on (VPLSS0135PVJ) £235.00 + vat. a pair. Haven't a clue the difference except around £150.00. in price.

And just to confuse things even more, the Front one's are now the same part number for MY10 through to MY13 at £220.00 + vat. a pair, but if you buy the ones which suit the same cars but have Screens in the headrest, the only difference appears to be a detachable panel over where the screen is and they are only £60.00 a pair + vat. Go figure that one.
