United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Stornoway Grey
External D-Pillar trim removal?

Hi all,

Recently purchased a P400e Autobiography, massive spec including HUD, massage seats, rear seat entertainment, deployable sidesteps ... it’s a huge step up (literally) from my previous two Evoque Autobiographies.

Annoyingly I’ve managed to get a deep scratch on my near side rear D-pillar trim which is as soft as cheese ... they all scratch just by looking at them but this was a branch that had rubbed on it in the big gales and has gone through the shiny top coat.

I can get a new trim for about £40 but can’t find anywhere how this is attached to the car. Does anyone have any instructions of how to remove and refit these as I don’t want to do damage to a new car? I could take it to the dealer who wants about 4 times the part price to supply and fit.

Many thanks.

Any body shop can do it. That's where the main dealer will probably send it then add their mark up.

Thanks for the link to the video. That looks kind of tricky to not damage something!
