My first Range Rover, but not my first Land Rover. So far, it's been everything I hoped it would be.

I didn't exactly 'own' this, but I had signed for it so technically speaking it was my butt on the line if it all went pear-shaped. Compared to the robust Series 1 this was clearly Land Rover's early efforts at developing their well-known reputation for reliabilty. Used to eat drive shafts and the first time I drove it across a ploughed field the dashboard fell out.

Real head turners !!

I am trying to upgrade my rear climate control in my 2014 RRS, i have the digital controls to replace the basic panel.
The wiring is all there, but nothing lights up.
Does it need coding ?

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

This was my first.

My boss bought it at 4yrs old (I was 19 at the time) and used to let me take it to fill up with fuel etc.... I told him that one day I would buy it.

Fast Forward 7 years and he asked me if i still wanted it.

It became my first RR. I improved the condition of it, added a few extras and only sold it a few years later to raise the cash for my first house deposit.

I guess the RR love never left though, a P38 was the first thing I bought once the finances recovered from the house purchase!

Not actually mine but mine was identical. A 1971 that I bought in 1975. No carpets, no rear wiper, the radio was an option and the car had a total of 2 fuses.

Now on number 8.

When I first started dating my wife 30 odd years ago, her brother had a 1979 2 door which had a 3 speed automatic conversion. He let me drive it a few times (and also the 2 Discos -Manf 1994&7 - he had) and I suppose this stuck with me.

In 2014 I bought an Evoque as an RRS wouldn't fit through the gates, but having moved house that changed so now have the RRS. MY17 RRS 4.4d V8 Autobiography - Aintree Green (also referred to on Topix as British Racing Green)

My first, bought it in September last year after always having Japanese 4x4s found an excellent indie & asked him to put everything right that needed doing spent around £1500 so got of quite lightly I think ! Only covered around 7,000 miles in it so far but absolutely love it 2007 TDV8.
