Results from landrover are in

as some may know I bought a car and it had issues it went back ot still had issues and finally I got agreement to go into landrover

Now ive got no reply from garage and had to pay for the check and engine scan myself so they advised to go to vosa as it went through mot when it shouldnt have.

Anyhow one issue was this I wandered if people had experience as he says its lambda however it can be a game of chase he said always good to ask anyone with the supercharged version as he doesn't see as many of those so there could be a well known issue that fixes it etc

that's good news on the gearbox. A fault on the selector in the cab I expect. Shouldn't be serious worry

Lean is a bit common on these. Could be a air leak

Its just over a grand to fix all the bits and garage have stopped responding but that fix is without the bank being lean he was honest tho and said it could be a pipe clamp right way through to lambda or incorrect part etc so that ones gonna be a tough one i think.

It appears I'm gonna have to pay then try small claims court

That's a real shame. It sounds like you have bought a bit of a lemon.

I'd definitely escalate and push further.

Remember, you have 6 months by law... Kev

Agreed. Go after the supply garage/dealer. Talk to trading standards as they will be interested in a garage not abiding by the law. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
