Rear Sensor problem

2006 Sport. Here we go again about my rear sensor problem!!!! I've had the rear bumper off and all wiring and connections seem okay......Changed the Parking Sensor Module in the boot area.......and I'm still having the same problem with the rear sensors sometime working as they should 50/50 with staying on constantly - with a difference now - the red light on the dash stays on constantly when when they are not working properly. Does that indicate where the problem might be?!??!?? Andrew Kennedy

You need a tool to read the live sensor data when the fault is present.

Or just change out all rear sensors

Thanks for your Andy. All your input gratefully received!! Is it going to be cheaper to buy new sensors? Or buy the testing tool? I live in the wilds of Brittany and it would have to be an Amazon purchase I'm thinking......What would I put up on "Amazon Search" to find the tool??! Andrew Kennedy

My issue was the loom itself it was brittle and breaking. A used loom for 50quid sorted me out or a new loom for 80 can
