Hi,
I have had the Pyramid rock Steady mirrors for years and have used on a few different cars and they have been fine, I have added an extra elastic strap just in case they do come adrift but all good Thumbs Up

It is a legal requirement to fit mirrors as very few car mirrors comply with ......

There is a legal requirement for you to have mirrors that allow you to see clearly an area that is 4 metres wide from the side of your caravan at a distance 20 metres behind the driver. A caravan is significantly wider than a car even a large 4x4 and you simply can't comply with the law unless you fit towing mirrors.

Mine are convex, if you go for the extended ones you can always adjust them in a bit but you can’t adjust the normal ones any further out.

Hi, I use Milenco Aeros and they are fine with a standard width caravan. They do need a tighten and an adjust though after a couple of miles as they settle downwards a bit. Just travelled 400 miles with them and no issues. Hope this helps. Thumbs Up

Hi,
they started life as both being convex Rolling Eyes but on a trip up to the Lakes going through Appleby the drivers side one got "kissed" by an oncoming van, I had stopped to let him through as well Big Cry

So now it has a flat glass stick on replacement mirror holding all the bits together and that is fine.

The towing mirror arm is about 240mm then you get the bend for the mirror head, you need about 100mm in the 2 clamps that fit on the car mirrors top edge so you get max 150mm then the mirror, mine are set at about 100mm out so still got some adj left

I use Milenco Aero. Have not had any problems with over 25000kms of towing van around Australia including many outback roads
