United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Successful trip across the water

I thought id post my success story, seeing as these cars tend to get a lot of bad press, especially the TDV6.
Stretched her legs on a trip to France then Belgium, just under 1000 miles and didn’t miss a beat.
Averaged 31.6 mpg.
Did develop a squeak from the alternator tensioner, on the return trip. I’ve got one on order.
Couldn’t be 100% trouble free, this is a Range Rover after all Wink
Little picture on the boat.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue

I don’t normally like RRS’ in Silver or the those “Jimmy Hill” style bumpers, but contrary to that your car is absolutely lovely. That’s a smart looking car. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Having done three trips down to northern Spain in both TDV8 and SDV6, 2000 miles round trips, I can agree that they're great long-distance vehicles. Never got 31mpg, however! Laughing 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
