Hi all, just joined as I’ve progressed from my baby RR (Evoque) to a Full Fat RRS TDV8 HSE & it really is the dogs dangly bits!
It’s an 08 low mileage with a comprehensive FSH & had the usual niggles (air reservoir/handbrake) sorted, what should I look out for apart from road tax & mpg?

Welcome and most of all just enjoy what you have, there great to drive as i'm sure you're already finding out.

Very nice. Be aware of the turbos on the TDV8 as it approaches 100k miles. Front lower arms and ARB bushes are consumable items on the L320 RRS too.

Keep your oil in good condition and let it idle for a little bit before switching off to help preserve your turbos.

As mentioned though, just enjoy it and keep a little bit of cash aside to cover running costs. Kev

I had a loaded 2012 Evoque as well - have also moved into a RRS as well...much prefer the V8 over the 4 banger! 2011 Range Rover Sport GT Limited Edition/Santorini Black 5.0 Liter

I also moved from an Evoque to RRS (albeit L494) absolutely no regrets.

The TDV8 needs a software fiddle too if the EGRs are blanked, I believe. I seem to remember Disco_Mikey mentioning it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
