Password reset

Computer crashed so lost passwords. As I had it set up for automatic login, I cannot remember the password. Anyway requested password reset. No reply Big Cry When I originally joined this forum, my login name was chicb, then after a time I forgot the password so requested a reset. No reply Big Cry Big Cry So had to re register & was told chicb was being used so called myself Lindab. Now the same has happened, no reply for password reset Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry & Lindab is being used so now I am calling myself Noname. Why is it so difficult to get a password reset on this forum

I don’t have any issues and I’m always forgetting when I swop between devices. I take it you’ve checked your junk folder? Did you get an email when you created a new name? If not I suggest it could be a email provider issue. I’m using hotmail if that if that helps. 2012 5.0 SC AB

Just tried it.. maybe the email address associated with your old username is unreachable for some reason; but then you wouldn't have received the registration email either. Odd. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Found it Whistle After writing all the passwords I could think of & trying them & waiting for 30mins after 5 attempts, finally got it, so "noname" will be redundant until I have another disaster. Well maybe not as I will have forgotten that password by then Big Cry

Hi, glad you got this sorted.

The site does send out the password resets/username reminders, so it is an issue with it getting through to your inbox.

As above, check junk/spam folders Thumbs Up Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
