T & S Norman - outstanding

After my dodgy injector was fixed by Steve I had the feeling to change indies and use him from now on. Today I’ve had a B service and it’s second cambelt change inc oil pump as well as some rectification work on old age related wear. Our car only has 77k but is 14 years old and we love it. It’s a keeper and I’m happy to open the wallet to put the wrongs right. The car will now not be going anywhere else. The car was even washed and I cannot recommend him enough Thumbs Up 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Good to hear positive reviews. Steve Norman seems to be recommended by lots of people here and on the Disco site, so good info for people looking for a good indie. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Well it’s that time of year again. “A”service this time and a new front diff, which was a little noisy especially when it was warmed up and over 50mph. I couldn’t believe how quiet the drive home was. Thanks to Steve and George for their spot on diagnosis. Haven’t really thought about it but I’ve only done 8k miles. Just shows what a year it’s been, as I was Steve’s last customer as he shut down for lockdown 1. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Well it’s that time of year as another one passes by. The car serviced today again by T&S Norman who’s an outstanding outfit down these parts. A B service this time with rear diff & Transfer box oil changes (Front diff renewed at last service). The car required a rear propshaft and a tensioner pulley, so as usual if it needs it it gets it. So a bit of flag waving for the gang. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

A good garage just makes things so much nicer, even if there is an unexpected bill to pay.

LR dealerships ought to learn that people don't like having to keep going back to get the same thing looked at several times. If you can't fix it in the time period allotted then be honest about it, don't send it out half done knowing full well that it will need to be brought back again. That's what gives the brand the bad reputation in the reliability stakes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Well another year has passed and today having just made 101k miles. A new battery fitted and a bonnet catch which was causing the alarm to infrequently activate. A driveshaft boot had split, so both were done on the NSF. Tracking done so now my steering wheel is straight after the last escapade with a Hunter alignment. Drives very nicely and as usual thanks to the knowledge of Steve & George.

In tomorrow for some paint work, photos to follow. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Good to hear Steve! I've had my gearbox flushed again by Bodsy after 40K since we did them back in 2019.

And another year passes. B service this time. I had the diff oils changed and the transfer box oil. EPB given its bi-annual service. The rear rusty brake pipes replaced and new hoses fitted, changing the brake fluid whilst they gang were at it. They kindly gave it a wash so its looking spic and span at the mo. It won't last as its that time of year and the roads here are brown. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Surely some mistake - every man and his dog knows that LR stuff is unreliable!

Good to hear another year with no issues and just a straight forward service required. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
