Put your finger over it and nothing happens to the displays.

That’s because it’s an ambient light sensor for the rear entertainment screens in the headrests. It took our other forum friends a long time to work it out.

Workshop manual describes item 21 as Ambient Light Sensor, did cover it and it did appear to change but not sure though, might be easiest to wait untill dark though to be sure, will have to check RSE screens on mine but thought there was a couple of buttons on the remote to change the screen brightness though, can't see any reference to the one below the home menu button in the manual at all.
