you need to refill with a decent amount (4 litres?)
turn the ignition on for 30 seconds and then off. repeat (humm manual says 5 minutes)

When mine ran out (fuel sender unit wiring U/S), it took quite a while. You will need a healthy battery or jump leads.

So I decided to listen for the pump myself because the rac man did it with his own engine running.I could hear the pump running but sounded like it was slurping to get fuel so took two Jerry cans and got 10 litres. That’s now 20litres I’ve put in and after doing what you guys told me too ( turning the key and waiting for 30 seconds) did this 5 times and now I see fuel coming out the schrader valve.turnt the key a few times and it fired up.Thank you all so much I’m very grateful and will not let it get low on fuel again

I thought it needed 10 litres
And then edited my post when I read the LR instructions. Laughing
