Amber EML

Hi all,
I’ve just had an Amber eml come up on my 2.7 2008 RRS. I’m guessing from other posts that an egr fault is likely.

Question really is can I fault read that with a generic ODB2 reader or does it need an iCarSoft or IID reader?

Generic OBD readers will only bring up OBD (emissions) related codes...

It will identify an EGR code, but that's about it...

Well... problem solved. Nothing to do with egr. Fuel cap not tight. Embarassed
