LR Route app

I am finding the route app quite useful in that I can sit in the house or caravan and plan where I am going and the info is sent to the car.

The problem I have found is that I can’t enter lat/long info into the app and as we are heading for Spain postcodes are no use.

Has anybody managed to enter lat/long info?

I use Google maps to get a long lat.
On Google Maps zoom in and click on the place of interest, then copy the long lat and paste into the route planner. 2026 P460e Autobiography on order

No problem getting the lat/long but the app doesn’t like the format.

Will try the copy and paste from google, thanks.

Well tried google maps and it came up with (40.9499741, -3.7293775) put that into the route planner and it gave me lots of options , M40, A40 and various postcodes.

Not good.

I think you picked a different lat long from Google as yours has an extra decimal place.
It works with the shorter version. Thumbs Up 2026 P460e Autobiography on order

You’re right, I was missing out the comma, other map programs don’t like the comma.

We are on the ferry to Spain on Wednesday so got my first three sites programmed in.
