Gearbox Error on dash (P081C-64)

Seems to be one issue after another with this car.

Started it at lunch today and got "gearbox error" on dashboard when put into D. Weirdly, the error goes away when the headlights are turned on?

Anyone had this issue? Hoping I don't need to replace the gear selector.

Well it's fixed. Turned out to be interior lamp fuse 57
