All the insurance companies I have had quotes from want a tracker fitted to my SVR I have just bought but not yet collected..
The issue I seem to be having is the incontrol tracker is listed as Thatcham cat 6 but they say it's all changed and it needs to be a S5-S7 thatcham catergory

I've looked online and I think cat6 is now classed as S7 but the insurance companies all say I need to tell them as they don't have anything listed as a Cat number and I need to give them the updated S number

Can anyone confirm Cat6 is now S7 as don't want tell them the wrong thing and get caught out if the car was ever stolen. 2017 SVR. SVO Scafell grey Ebony interior

Also as your SVR is coming up 3 years old (as is my RRS-AB) if you are looking at keeping long term, it might be worth considering the SmarTrack S5 with a lifetime subscription all in for just under £1000?
