Slip when cold/ exchange gearbox supplier

Hi

3.6 2010 tdv8 with the 6 speed box
80k miles

I’m getting some very jerky changes and slip when the vehicle is cold
When it’s hot it runs pretty sweet.

I changed Gearbox oil and sump filter about 5000 miles ago with genuine zf oil.
I will get it up on the ramp and check fluid at the weekend but gut feeling is I will be looking at an exchange box. Any other things to check I may have overlooked? Not sure if it’s Gearbox or TC.

Any recommendations of a good company?
Looking at supply only as I have the facilities and tech to swop them over.

Thanks in advance

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

A Genuine LR box is £2250 + VAT. Had to price one up this week

Aftermarket recons were all around £1800 + VAT, but reusing your original mechatronic unit (a £1600 part, if it fails)

Id bite the bullet, and get a full box from LR Thumbs Up

Just a quick update as hopefully it may help someone who searches with a similar problem

Checked the oil got another litre in. It now drives much better. Not sure it’s 100 percent but not going to pull the box out yet.

I will update the thread if the issue re appears
