AVOID at all costs.

Took out policy @ £1,350 for 13 months.

Specifically had conversation confirming both wear and tear, and parts required at servicing were covered.

Had car checked out by them at policy inception (Halfords), no faults found.

Took car to main dealer for full service the following week.

Needed front wheel bearing and rear drop link stabiliser arms.

Motoreasy said that as no part had failed nothing was covered, basically the car had to breakdown on the road before any claim could be considered.

Sent email to the boss explaining what had been said to me when I double checked the cover, and said if they didn't reconsider I would take them to court for breach of contract.

Had my £1,350 returned the following day. 2010 3.6 TDV8 HSE (Gone)

Crap but go with their plan so you are not out of pocket.. I had to replace a turbo with no warranty recently but Rovertune fitted a genuine one that come with a 2 year warranty.
Personally, I take the approach of as much preventative maintenance as possible with knowledge gained on these forums and forget paying for a warranty. They usually wriggle out Censored . Stick the cash instead into an ISA Thumbs Up Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Not sure why people go with warrantywise, motor easy when Warranty Direct is the best out there.

Owned my RRS TDV6 3.0 2010 since March 2018 and have had between 14-15k of works done to it via Warranty Direct till today with no contribution from myself or even an excess and paying £800 a year. All work done by LR specialist.

Never had a claim refused as long as it was a covered part. RRS TDV6 2010 Smile

Sham91, the reason I went with M.E was simply that they promised the kind of service you have received from WD, you can only go off what you're told when you enquire. My vehicle is now having the new turbo fitted at M.E's cost but a week after it first went in and 90 miles from home
