New switch-panel

Since my 3d-printed efforts were a bit of a compromise and not good-looking, I treated myself to a panel from Land Rover Passion. DHL got it here in a couple of days. The original cup-holder/cigarette-lighter assembly comes out with six screws and this refits in its place with the original screws. One of the cup-holders is retained. The EasyLift controller has a new home conveniently close to Terrain Response, etc.,.

Nicely thought-out, nicely made and fitted first time with the holes lining-up perfectly.

Still a few holes to fill. Two 'normal' cigarette-lighter sockets and one twin-USB outlet will follow.

Before anyone asks, 'no', I don't have a rotating beacon on my car [all of the time]. That switch controls the rear 12V outlet; the rear 12 V outlet is where the amber LED flasher plugs-in if required.

Interesting...

So what are the 3 switches controlling and what have you in mind for the 3 spare switch holes?

I actually prefer to keep my Easilift controller in the "ash tray" as then I can shut it and its not soo bright!

HNY, James...

1) Switches the 12 V cigarette-lighter socket in the boot;
2) Controls the remote contactor for the winch power (and flips the numberplate up/down to reveal/hide the fairlead);
3) Pays/retrieves the winch cable.

My current thoughts are:

4) A dedicated switch for the LED light bar to control whether it illuminates with the driving lamps or not;
5) Blank-plate / provision for a rear work-light;
6) Blank-plate.

As I seem to spend so much time changing wheels, the sixth switch may be wired to an electrically-heated jack-handle, mood-lighting around the spare wheel and a sound system piping soothing music to each wheel arch.
