Am going to install a Double DIN Pioneer CarPlay unit in our 06 RRS over the Christmas break.

Expect I'll use the Incartec kits (Harmon Kardon - not Logic7) and use a Brodit assembly to hold the phone.

Are there any "Gotchas" I should watch out for? Missing OE functionality for example.

Does anyone know the colour/colour code for the green/grey trim used in the centre console - the adaptor fascia is black and if possible I'd like to match it to the rest of the car.

well you will loose factory sat nav (no loss)

and 4x4 + suspension display

If you use the full incartec kit including stripping down the old head unit you will retain the satnav / 4x4 screen albiet with no sound

Only issue I had was the old blue tooth unit trying to pair to phone after install of head unit and being unable to delete pairing.

Ended up unplugging it in rear boot side panel and completing the fibre circuit with a most loop for about £6 TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten
