Voice recognition not working

I've just had some good advice on the forum about my rear parking sensor problem, so hopeful someone out they may have some advice on my Voice Recognition that is on the blink. 2006 Sport. Pull the paddle and get 'listening' then after a command 'no speech detected' . I've changed the mic and had the connectivity check out...so assuming those two checks have been done correctly and haven't found the problem....what else can I check?!? Andrew Kennedy

Hi Andrew, from memory I seem to remember there is a microphone/speech recognition test routine in the diagnostics menu on the in dash display. Have a look in there, it may help. The PIN is 753.

Here's how you get into the menu...

PS. I could be wrong, but its worth a quick check. Kev

Voice recognition not working

Many thanks knwatkins for your suggestion re looking at the diagnostic screen on the GPS. So I opened it up and went though the programs. Mic working okay but came up with 2 codes which hopefully might mean something to someone. They are....0B-41: 10/03/17 12:37:28 the other 10-50: 00/00/00 00:00:00. Although I can live with the Voice Recognition no working, the car is in A1 condition and I would like to keep everything working as it should. Hoping the codes will give a clue to what is wrong?!? Andrew Kennedy
