Boot compartment

Hi
I notice in the RR boot space there are 4 metal rings in the corners ?
Any way one can utilise these to compartmentalise boot so things don’t roll about ? LR say must fit rails in and it all works out over 350£
Must be something cheaper out there ?

Go to Amazon "Car boot Organiser" loads to choose from . I got one last week from Lidl £4.99 brilliant, folds flat when not needed.

Could try something like this, although originally for the RRS1 I think but might fit.

I just use a large plastic box with lid in the boot and then an elasticated strap between two rings to keep it in place. But I do like the look of those Amazon boot organisers - and Christmas is coming isn't it?

Also don't forget that there is space underneath the rear seat squabs. I keep a tow rope, jump leads and my solar panel charger there. Robin

I use the rings to hold an elastic net too and also stretch some bungee cords between them which can be used to hold things in place like my warning triangle etc. Current: 2016 SDV6 HSE

My old Ranger had a similar space under the seats - always kept a set of ratchet straps, tow rope etc under there in case I needed to tie anything down in the bed and/or rescue anyone.. never thought of doing the same in the RRS though Embarassed 2010 RRS TDV8, 2006 BMW 650i, 2007 Mini Cooper S

Oh, and whilst we are on the subject, a reminder for those of us with early RRSs (I think only the L320 - don't know about others) of the space under the offside cover in the engine bay. I believe I recall someone on this forum posting that they stored their bottle jack here. Perhaps a plentiful supply of velcro tape on the box the jack came in? Don't know. You would't want to put anything in here that wasn't well fixed down.

Sorry, sometimes I can get them to rotate but this time I'm struggling - but you get the picture I hope Robin
