Hi folks

Over the past days I've noticed when idling there are regular dips, then it picks up again. It's slight, but I'm sure it used to be completey steady so I'm wondering if it's an early sign of a problem. I don't know how long this may have been happening as I'm rarely out of the RRS with running engine, just this time I was picking up my wife and loading the boot so I heard the exhausts so now I'm looking for the noise change. Also over this past year the onboard displayed economy has dropped from averaging high 20's, to 23 or 24mpg but my driving style hasn't changed - I know it's not accurate, but a change from normal is noted. I'm wondering if there is a connection? Any pointers would be appreciated.
