A couple of months ago I noticed that my drivers side door mirror would end up in the wrong position, particularly after a reversing manoeuvre where the door mirror would adjust as required but not return to the correct position sometimes.

Due to lack of time to investigate I disabled the reversing mirror mode and all was ok until last week. The door mirror has now moved twice when the car has been stopped and parked up. I can only presume the motor maybe shorting or just having a nervous breakdown.

I have searched for any similar issues without success and therefore looking for people with this experience or ideas as to a solution for the problem. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

It’s a commonish fault that happens to some but not all. Could be a bad memory motor. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Hi, I found the same problem with my car today, I disassembled the entire mechanism, but I found that the two engines located inside do not remember their positions and lose sync. Please tell me how you turned this feature off?

If you go to the internal settings on the dashboard you can disable the reversing mirrors in there.  Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I'm going to get a memory motor secondhand and try that but it is a job I will get round to when I have the time. Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
