Firework Damage

Just had a customer RRS in for service. I noticed a dent on the bonnet when inspecting the car and pointed it out on the job card to the customer. He told me that a big rocket had come down on the car, bounced off the bonnet and smashed the windscreen.

I can't begin to think what damage that would have done if it hit somebody on the head. It looks like somebody has taken a hammer to the bonnect Shocked Joe

We're a little further away from locals who like to set off giant rockets now, but where I used to live I found Fireworks "night" (week, month!) arse puckering as I've always had a convertible sat on the drive - I have visions of one landing on the roof and burning the car down.. and never knowing where it came from! 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S
