Yeah I think they're going to keep it quiet.

They stung a lot of people for £200/£300 for Apple Car Play/Android Auto as an accessory/option and now with this latest 19B JLR are just activating the features on any car that supports it. Can't imagine that going down well if it goes to the car press.

Also the audio popping issue is still there or just introduced if you've upgraded from before 18C !! Non JLR Vehicle

I have a 19.5 SVR, and my software is on 18D, according to the website , anything above 18B should prompt for a SOTA update, but mine doesn't, plus manual check says no update available. Is this something dealer can/are willing to push remotely, or does it have to go in to dealership? Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

Also, does anyone have a reason NOT to upgrade from 18D to 19B? (Errors introduced etc)

I am having issues using waze with my iPhone on ios 13.1 with the car, (massively off course, GPS sync up etc). I hope software update cure this. Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

I thought the car screen was just that, a display screen.

The phone is doing all the work and outputs it display to the car?

To be honest I did not think 18D supported Carplay, certainly no problems on 10B with Waze for me.  2026 P460e Autobiography on order

Many thanks for this, fortunately airplay was supported, and when I got the car (May 2019) Waze was working well. Past few months it has become major glitchy, probably to do with IOS having be updated but the car not?

By the way, separate but possibly connected point. Auto access height is very hit and miss (much more miss than hit),

I have auto access turned off and as you say it probaby linked to te the IOS upgrade.
