Airport parking - restricted performance required

I am travelling for work later this week and they have booked a local APH parking for me. unfortunatly it is leave your keys style parking....

Is there a way that i can restrict the performance using my IID tool, as i dont want them taking my pride & joy fro a test ride!

leave your keys and you take the risk, could be from joyriding or theft from the vehicle.....personally i'd find somewhere where you take the keys with you..

After watching Watchdog a couple of weeks ago where the cars were dumped in a field with no security Big Cry (loads of cars) I would never leave the keys.

I used Bristol meet and greet parking a couple of weeks ago. All fine. It's the airport's own parking set up, not a third party, and they park in their own secured parking area. I've used Heathrow's version previously. So far, so good. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I'm at LHR and LGW weekly, I'd never leave my car with the "Valet"parking . I prebook for terminal parking or if for a longer trip, car service there and back. Read the T&C's, shocking! 2018 Telsa MS

Likewise (well, except the weekly bit, it's more quarterly for me) - T2/3 Business or T5 Business parking where I can keep my keys, or if I'm feeling fancy, Pod parking.

Once made the mistake at Gatwick of staying at the Copthorne the night before as it came with free parking, only to find out they wanted me to leave my keys so that they could (if they wished) "move the car to a secure car park" (most likely a field somewhere) - wasn't mentioned on their website but at that point, I didn't have much choice Sad

Still, also doesn't sound like the OP has much choice where his company books him in, so these suggestions probably don't help him much Laughing companies don't understand because, to a lot of people, a car is just like a washing machine.. white goods. 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

A car is just like white goods. That some people get emotionally attached to a car is their problem, not anyone else's. Or perhaps if washing machines cost people £50k, they'd become attached to them too. Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Rolling with laughter If my washing machine cost 50k, it would have to come with a lot of "additional features" Wink Laughing 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S

Mine probably cost more than that but I did become emotionally attached first. Twenty-two years of marriage and it must be time to check the wording on the warranty. Whistle
