Quite a few jobs that you wouldn't think would be too major require 'separation'. TBH it's quite a quick process to lift the body off.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

hi, can anyone help me
i have a sport supercharged and i am trying to change the engine, i have lifted the body off about 10 inch so far (with no ramp, using jacks beams and wheels), everything is unplugged and disconected, the problem i'm having is the wiring to the engine i can't seem to find where it unplugs. do i have to remove all the loom from the engine and box or does it unplug somewhere on the body.
thanks in advance.

RRS is essentially the same, but there is no clutch pipe to remove, and the gear selector cable needs taken off the side of the box Thumbs Up

No need to lift body to replace turbo's

you do not have to take the body off to replace the turbo's, my Indi done it from under the car by removing the exhaust and heat Shields Thumbs Up Very Happy

So if it is just Turbo's need changing do it from under the car MY08 RR SPORT3.6TD V8 FULLY LOADED, COOLER BOX, GVIF UNIT, PIONEER AVIC-F980DAB HEAD UNIT, RETAINING 4X4 INFO OEM SCREEN AND TS-WX130DA SUB

I talked about this through with my local indy when I bought my sport, they said that unless you don't have access to a ramp, changing turbos is much quicker and easier with the body off. Even allowing for the time and effort to remove and reattach the body! They have had a fair bit of practice thou
