United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Nara Bronze
Gearbox Fault Message

Hi guys, Not really used the RRS for a while as been moving house and generally sorting stuff out. Used it a couple of times for short journeys and as expected threw a few fault lights and messages up, but i just put these down to battery lowish. Pressed OK to reset and everything ok, nothing reoccurred.

Have driven to work this morning approx 35 miles and just as i approached work the dash lit up like Blackpool. I can't remember everything but here goes...

Gearbox fault, stability control not available drive carefully, special programmes off, forward assist not available and as i said maybe one or two others.

Is this battery again as i had lights, heater etc on this morning or is is something other. Will get codes read when i can, but what's the general opinion? i will see what happens on the way home this afternoon.

Thanks in advance for any helps and tips... Thumbs Up Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE

Battery would be my first suspect. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

Just driven home from work, all still there when I started up. Got home so it’s had a 70 mile run and still Blackpool illuminations. I went back out shortly after to see a mate and boom everything reset! Stopped and started a couple of times since and not a flicker. I love these cars.. Laughing Current: 2010 RRS 3.6 TDV8 HSE
