United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Lux Santorini Black
1 month Update

Ok have now owned my RRS-2012 3.0l hse for 1 month.
bought with 7 months MOT 97k on clock
now out of Dealers Warranty
Fortunately no major issues.
DAB radio Displays randomly works
No warning lights at all ( so all good there)
suspension is a bit creaky round corners , so maybe look at that month after next.
getting average 32mpg so not to bad
next month got a major service and cam belt change at a local RR dealer. (£760)

have been looking at a lot of posts/tips on here just for reference.
but as of yet have not required them.
really happy with it and love driving it ..

will keep a diary of all work done on it and update here , may help somebody , or tech here may guide me otherwise
any way thanks for now

k

That's a very good price for the belt change and service.

Hi Keith

Can you let us know how it goes with that garage, its not a million miles away from me and as a new owner its hard finding a garage you can trust not just by price but the feeling your not being led up the garden path with what they say needs doing.

Not sure what you mean by "out of dealer's warranty" - under the Consumer Protection Act you get 6 months from purchase where any fault is deemed to have been there from the date of purchase and must be fixed by the supplying dealer. MY2016 HSE D SDV6 - gone due to fuel dilution problems.

ok got my car back from Local Indie garage

had cam belt changed, and full service ( made a fuss about the pollen filter never been changed before )
showed me all that was done ,
and also what is required to be done next

rear brake pipes
front roll bar and bushes

so got those booked in for next month..

commented that everything else looked ok, underneath was solid ( that was one of my fears )
suspension is good , Brakes are good,
so now getting a little confident in the Vehicle, and in my local Garage.
which is just as well as I got a few journeys this month
Clacton next weekend , then Aberdeen the weekend after..

Cheers for the update, and enjoy your trips, mine is in next week for rear brake pipes, prop shaft bearing, anti roll bar bushes and compressor cover been quoted £640 for that anyone know if that is reasonable for that work to be done?
