SVR - Finally made it!

Hi Folks,
Been away for a while, so time for an update:
In Apr 18 I changed the 3.0HSE for a 4.4Autobiography - terrific improvement and the engine really suited the car, plus the interior was so much nicer. Unfortunately in Jan this year it broke down with a turbo actuator problem. All sorted through LRAssist (who were great) but the engineer who attended said they have had a lot of these go, which kinda put me off. Plus with all the negative diesel stuff around these days, I decided to take the plunge ..

So here it is, my first SVR!!

It’s a ‘65 plate in Corris Grey with only 12k mls (when bought in Mar)

It has an impressive list of options incl: Deployable side steps, HUD, Upgraded Stereo, Remote Pre-heater, Panoramic Roof, 360° Cameras, soft close doors.

What a car! The noise! It just doesn’t disappoint. In Dynamic mode it is very impressive and really does make you question the basic laws of physics! No way, something that big should handle like that

I have had it ceramic coated (top pic) and the results were stunning. Hopefully this will be a keeper

Nice looking sport & yes these can shift,sometimes I know regret getting rid of my SC but with it being black it was a nightmare to keep clean.The SVR is probably next on my list. Andy.

Cheers folks,
I love it! I was a bit worried it would a bit too much, consumption wise, as I commute 60mls a day( 4 in 8 days) But now I just commute with a grin on my face!
To hell with the mpg! Actually, over 6 months I have averaged 21.2mpg... not too scary. About 24 slow and steady on the way in to work, but for some reason it drops to about 18 on the way home!!
High twenties achievable on the motorway.

I was thinking the same, fancy ramp in his garage In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
