& don't forget if using the likes of Castrol you also have 2 different oils with same spec apart from one is for the stop/start engine which you will need in the RRS. Andy.

I have only had the cat 3and a half months the Glasgow m8is killing the car

Having same issue with mine - serviced May 2019 and next service countdown dropping by 1k miles every week - car booked in to fix faulty airbag light issue - hoping they fix the service countdown issue - known fault - usually requires another oil and filter change - had the issue before and clearly wasn't fixed. MY16, 3.0D HSE Dynamic, Barola Black, TV, Rear Entertainment, Opening Pan Roof, Meridian

in the end i used the milers but then looked into it and today i extracted it back out and put in castrol magnetic stop start, that's what the castrol configurator suggested after i put it in i ran the car for 10 min then checked the level after leaving for 10min

This is what they gave me when I had mine serviced last week.When I’ve serviced the L494 3.0 before I’ve used the stop/start grade but this doesn’t mention it.

excellent i dont understand why the castrol website doesn't give edge as suitable, i was under the impression that edge was the oil used
