RRS (494) Headlamp bulb change?

Having wasted many an hour looking on this forum and the internet in general. I seem to be unable to find a single article or post that advises on changing the headlamp bulbs on a MY 2015 RRS (L494), appreciate any advise, has anybody done this or has everyone taken their cars to the MA to have their bulbs replaced?

here you go, from our US friends: https://www.rangerovers.net/threads/headla...de.101426/

but beware:

It turns out that one need not remove the whole headlamp assembly to swap bulbs but a lot of stuff like air filter and other components have to be removed from behind the lamps, so I'm glad I didn't mess with it....

One thing to keep in mind if someone else does this simple mod ... when they remove parts behind the headlamps one of the steps involved is unplugging some sort of temperature sensor. When I got back into the truck it was blasting heat at it was reading the outside temp at -29F. I panicked there for a second thinking what did they do to mess up my vehicle. Not to worry apparently it takes a few miles but it resets itself. In fact by the time I got home ten minutes/miles later in was already in the 60s. Just noting it so that no one stresses about it like I did.

from the workshop manual:

Quote:
Headlamp removal is not required for the replacement of the xenon bulbs. The rear of the headlamp unit has a removable access cover which allow access to the bulb.

A large cover, which is rotated counter-clockwise to remove, allows access to the low/high beam xenon bulb.

Handling of the D3S xenon bulb must be performed using suitable protective equipment, e.g. gloves and goggles. The glass part of the bulb must not be touched.
