2010 RRS 3rd Brake Light

Have about 5 LEDs not working so waiting on delivery of a 2nd hand OEM arriving from the bay.
I’ve seen a how to on YouTube for replacing but A it’s an Evoque and B the roof spoiler is off the car. The Evoque has an inspection hatch underneath and the light is held in by 2x 7mm nuts.

Is the 2010 RRS the same and can the nuts be accessed via a panel with the spoiler still in situ ?
I’d run out to the car to see if it has the inspection hatch but it’s been raining solid for the past 4 hrs.
Has anyone done this that can confirm ?

You have to remove the rear spoiler to change it I'm afraid.

The rear spoiler is easy enough to remove. It's only 4 bolts. Kev

5 bolts Kev, three in middle and large torx screw under plastic trim each end, little easier with second pair of hands when removing as possible to scratch roof paint work with the alignment screws, although usually chuck a towel or blanket over the roof.

Just remembered it may be slightly different on the split tailgate and not sure the outer ones are covered by trim. Thumbs Up

Thanks everyone I will let you know how I get on during the week. Another question though when parked up is there any way to play the radio without having the full ignition on ? ( all dash lights, fans running etc ) Seems there isn’t an option its either ignition on or off - or am I missing something? I don’t like parking up wanting to play the radio and having all full ignition on, all I want is the media unit to be powered ?
